These were my sketches for the club and personal banners. The top three were
ideas that I proposed to my contact with NAMI, and the bottom drawing was my
design for my personal banner.
Personal Banner
For my banner I chose thw word "Stargazer" because of my ongoing love for space
and astronomy. I've always loved just staring at the night sky; I think the
stars are beautiful, and it's a method I sometimes use to relieve stress.
Club Banner
The club I worked with was the National Alliance on Mental Illness. They chose
the phrase "End the Stigma" because their club's main mission is to educate
people on mental illness and end the stigma surrounding it. I chose to use
daffodil flowers because they can represent self-love, which is another value
NAMI promotes.
